Supervision
I have completed supervision training at CSTD Bath which is officially validated by the HIPC section of UKCP as being a ‘Recognised Supervision Training’ since 2016 and meets all requirements for this recognition.
As a supervisor I offer a warm, approachable, empathic and non-judging manner, holding gentle authority in the supervisory role. I provide a safe space for the supervisee to talk about their experience as a practitioner and their concerns for and work with their clients. The development of a good working alliance is key to good supervision and I aim to work with respect, congruence, and non-judgement in the relationship I develop with my supervisees. My interest in the supervision process extends not only to the relationship between client and therapist but to the ongoing professional and individual development of the supervisee and the supervisor as they grow in reflective practice.
One of the main supervision models I use as a CSTD Supervisor is the Seven-Eyed Supervision Model which was developed by Peter Hawkins, one of the founding members of CSTD Bath.
I work with Individual and Couple work in supervision. If you are interested in finding out more about working in supervision with me please contact me via email or telephone.
